A magical themed café inspired by Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is popping up in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya this summer, with beautiful decor and exclusive merch for fans to enjoy!

This summer, fans of the beloved manga and anime Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End will once again have the chance to immerse themselves in its enchanting world, as the highly anticipated themed café Frieren CaféFlower Garden returns to Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya for a limited time.
This café brings the world of Frieren to life through carefully curated décor, exclusive merchandise and an atmosphere that celebrates the series' unique charm. Following the great success of the 2024 event, this year’s edition promises an even more refined experience, centred around the theme of a flower garden.
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is a manga written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. It presents a refreshing take on the fantasy genre by exploring what happens after the great battle is over. Instead of focusing on the classic heroic quest, the story begins with the defeat of the demon king and follows Frieren, a centuries-old elf mage who was part of the legendary hero's party.
After the passing of her companion Himmel, Frieren begins a new journey of self-discovery, attempting to understand human emotions and form meaningful relationships. Her path is filled with introspective moments, magical battles and quiet encounters with people she meets along the way.
LTR Corporation first introduced the Frieren themed café in early 2024, and it quickly became a popular destination for fans. This summer, the experience returns with new visuals and design elements, bringing a fresh interpretation of Frieren’s journey to life.
The café will be open in three locations across Japan:
Tokyo (BOX cafe&space Tokyo Solamachi) from 31 July to 21 September 2025
Osaka (BOX cafe&space HEP FIVE) from 31 July to 15 September 2025
Nagoya (BOX cafe&space Global Gate) from 7 August to 15 September 2025
Each venue will be decorated with the "Flower Garden" concept, capturing the elegance and emotional depth of the series. Visitors can expect a calm, picturesque environment that invites reflection, connection and celebration of the story’s most meaningful moments.
Reservations open on 16 July at 18:00 JST through the official website. A booking fee of 660 yen (tax included) applies and includes a limited-edition invitation-style card as a gift. Each customer may reserve up to four seats per booking.
