New reading of old books has a unique flavor

This time I mainly bought some old books, especially one of them was an album from the 1970s, which recorded the grand occasion of the Osaka World Exposition that year. Through some modern art works, such as TV series or animations, such as 20th Century Boys and Crayon Shin-chan, I learned how upset Japanese children would be if they did not go to the Osaka World Expo in 1970. Since I have not experienced it myself, it is difficult to empathize with it. But after looking at the photos from that year, I found that if there were pictures like these in the 1970s, they would have been at the forefront of the times. It is hard to imagine that in China, before reform and opening up, and we were still in the wave of the planned economy, our neighbors next door had already developed so well. Many of these things are not outdated even in modern times, especially art and entertainment. But from another perspective, the neighbor next door has really been standing still for many years. Many of the immature technologies and future enjoyments of the year were popularized and commercialized by China. This is not a latecomer, first arrival.
