Freia, Setsuna, and Kureha from Redo of Healer Receive New Figure Releases in Chinese Dress Designs

On 18 August 2025, KADOKAWA began accepting reservations for three new scale figures from its KDcolle (KADOKAWA Collection) brand. The announcement will interest fans of Redo of Healer , as three of the story’s central heroines—Freia, Setsuna, and Kureha—have been given figure adaptations in specially designed Chinese-style outfits.

The Characters Behind the Figures

◆Freia

Freia is one of the series’ key heroines and remains a central figure throughout the narrative. Her new figure captures her in an original outfit: a Chinese-inspired swimsuit. The design highlights her pose and body line, with particular attention to her expressive face. The figure conveys both movement and personality, as she glances back with a gesture that draws attention to her figure.

The outfit itself may be bold, yet the details prevent it from feeling plain. The lace motif around the midsection is reproduced with precision, giving texture and variation to the overall appearance. Collectors familiar with KADOKAWA’s KDcolle range will notice that the figure maintains the company’s focus on blending character traits with carefully executed sculpting.

◆Setsuna

Setsuna, the ice-wolf demi-human, is presented in another original design. Her figure features a playful expression, shown by the small gesture of sticking out her tongue. The outfit’s cut emphasises her torso and hips, while the slit in the dress reveals her thighs. The figure’s fabric design hugs the body, and the sculpting conveys muscle tone and form with clarity.

This adaptation reflects both Setsuna’s origins as a warrior and her more tender qualities. Fans of the character will likely find that the combination of confident pose and light-hearted expression makes this version distinctive.

◆Kureha

Kureha Crylet, heir to the distinguished Crylet family of knights, completes the trio. Her figure, also based on an original Chinese dress design, brings attention to her long silver hair, which flows dynamically behind her. The sculptor has emphasised the natural fall of the hair and the way it interacts with her movement.

Her pose displays strength as well as elegance. While the figure highlights her form, it also conveys a sense of poise associated with her role as a skilled swordswoman from a noble household. This balance makes the piece stand apart from the other two figures, offering collectors a different aesthetic within the same themed line.

Display and Presentation

KADOKAWA has designed the figures with complementary bases, meaning they can be displayed together as a set. For collectors, this creates the option of building a unified scene. When placed side by side, Freia, Setsuna, and Kureha form a visual trio that reflects their respective roles and personalities within the story.

Each figure is produced on a 1/7 scale and is fully painted with an included stand. The heights vary slightly, with Setsuna standing at approximately 145mm while Freia and Kureha reach around 246mm each.

The decision to make the figures consistent in scale and compatible in presentation shows KDcolle’s intention to market them not only as individual items but as a collection that gains impact when completed.
